ARTCRANK Denver will open on Saturday, September 4 at the Lisa Kowalski Gallery in Denver’s River North Arts District. The show will feature the work of 56 local artists and run through Saturday, September 11. It will also serve as a kick-off to the Denver edition of the Bicycle Film Festival, which is scheduled for September 9-11. In that spirit, plan on biking down to the opening night party on Septmeber 4: Bike Denver is setting us up for valet bike parking in the evening, and the folks at Denver B-cycle are offering a sweet deal on annual memberships with every poster purchase. Local artist Jamos Douglas is showcasing his art this first Friday July 2nd 2010 at INDYINK "OOGA CHAKKA OOGA CHAKKA" is a showcase of the different styles and egos of Jamos Douglas. With roots dating back fifteen years painting with a spray can and coming from an art background. Jamos Douglas has widened his pallet in mediums from the can to acrylic, paint pens, watercolor, and tattoos. "Using all these Mediums is way for me to get different possibilities out of my art". Come see his latest work Friday July 2nd!

Join us June 4th for an exhibition of the works of Denver based illustrator Elliot Lang. Elliot Lang has worked for clients such as the Wall Street Journal, The Legal Times, and R. Kelly (what? I know.) Between painting he swims competitively and is pretty decent at that as well. Free beer and good company as well as affordable art, what more could you want?

For Fresh Friday in May INDYINK is proud to present "Gangster Mathematics" New works from Adam Sikorski and Brian McFadden. This show will feature extensive new works in a variety of mediums from both artists including limited edition screen prints and T-shirts. Artist reception will be at INDYINK at 84s. Broadway, Denver, CO on May 7 from 7-11pm and the show will run until June 2nd.

INDYINK is elated to present The Dave Devries Monster Engine. The Monster Engine is an eleven-year art project, which has grown into an internet phenomenon. Released in June of 2005, The Monster Engine attracted 17 million hits in the first month and continues to get 1/2 million hits per month and is linked to over a 12,000 blogs worldwide--all on word of mouth with no advertising. The Monster Engine is a book, a demonstration, lecture and a gallery exhibition. The premise for all three came from one single question: What would a child’s drawing look like if it were painted realistically?. WANT to find out come on down April 2nd to INDYINK and see!

CMYK + RGB explores the interactions between print and digital media through their unique color spectrums: Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Black (print) and Red, Green, Blue (digital).With live screen printing, a conceptual fashion show, a print exhibition and interactive digital installations, RGB + CMYK places two forms of reproduction side by side asking the question on every newspaper publisher and online entrepreneur's mind: are these formats complimentary or in competition?
